THE CAMP – the international training camp
April 25 – 28, 2017.
Cost per person is 300 EUR for lectures, group lessons and supervised
THE CAMP has intentionally been chosen to have no implication to a big event. This reinforces ist sole ambition of enhancing the quality of dancing. THE CAMP offers a one-of-a-kind connection between experienced world class teachers, national coaches and couples.
Asis Khadjeh-Nouri and Henner Thurau.
Asis Khadjeh-Nouri: “Maybe THE CAMP is not better than other training camps but we are different in every point – location, organization, ambition, and friendship.”

Again in 2017 – Special Senior Training
Especially and only for our senior couples, THE CAMP is offering three group lessons.
The town hall is also known as the “Palais with seven halls”. The historical town hall was built in 1900 in Wilhelminian style and masterfully restored in 1995. You can expect glamorous halls with unique acoustics and highly technical equipment.

Press Reviews 2016
“THE CAMP“ in Wuppertal is certainly one of the greatest dance sports events. First and foremost, it is one of the most important ones! This year, more than 220 couples from 33 countries took part – amongst them, the European and World-Vice-Champions.
The spirit was incredible from the very first moment! Not only because Wuppertal’s historical town hall is the most beautiful location in the world for a dance sports camp, but also because the „Crème de la Crème” of the widely renowned dance sports coaches had arrived.
More than 40 specialists in the Standard and Latin American dances showed their skills in lectures and group lessons. The highly motivated couples took this with gratitude.
In addition to the very beautiful collegial working atmosphere between the coaches, the participating couples showed strong improvements at the end and ran on to the highest performances.
A big thank you to Asis Khadjeh-Nouri and Henner Thurau and their team for the excellent organisation.
“THE CAMP“ in Wuppertal is regarded as a trademark in more than 50 countries around the world. Primarily for me it was -as always- a beautiful dance sport family meeting.
